The Series 66 exam, officially known as the Uniform Investment Adviser Law Examination, is designed for individuals who want to become investment adviser representatives (IARs). Unlike many of the other FINRA exams, the Series 66 is administered by FINRA on behalf of the North American Securities Administrators Association (NASAA) but is not tied to FINRA firm sponsorship.
